Dan Matthews Interview

1) What is your favorite place that you have been to on the planet?

This is a hard one love Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Great Barrier Reef.


2) Do you shoot pictures with a digital or film camera?

Digital Camera, film cameras are like snail mail ~ outdated 

3) When you have 2 hours to squeeze an activity on a Saturday morning, what do you do?

Saturday Mornings I am normally sleeping in, being a grad student who also works or I am just getting in from being a Night Owl. Now if you said Sunday my day off I am probably doing a water sport like sea kayaking.

4) What is the number one reason why you don’t get outside as much as you’d like?

Grad School (MBA), Work (Computer Admin), Life, $$$

5) Where would you build your ideal vacation house?

Love to have a house in the mountains, near water or a beach, and one in the country.  Something modern out of a Dwell magazine.
 
6) What adventure, that you have yet to do, is number one on your list?

It's a tie between sky diving, bunjy jumping, hang gliding, and zip lining

7) What is the most significant gear invention?

A Jock Strap or maybe a Wet Suit, both serve a purpose while leaving allot to the imagination.
 
8) What is your number one priority when buying a car?

It's not be American who wants to be stranded or have lots of fix it bills. (I love my Toyota 4 DR truck).

9) What do you do to enhance your outdoor fitness?

Drink Redbull , bring a ipod with pumped music, bring gays...   

10) What was your scariest moment on an outdoor adventure?

Being stranded in the mountains because of the weather while camping or doing a Eskimo Roll in a kayak.
