Date of Event: Saturday January 12, 2008

SkiOutUtah Gay Ski Club took to the trails (Cross Country style this time) in Parley's Canyon -- at Mountain Dell Recreation Area. The trails are maintained beautifully by TUNA (The Utah Nordic Association) for all to enjoy for the modest fee of $5.

Skies were blue, temperatures allowed us to remove layer after layer -- which helped air out the body a bit -- with a good sweat worked up. We saw 3 moose (a bull and two cows) and a huge rack on one Elk that just
stared at us for an hour (silly humans following each other around on wooden sticks!)

At the end of our journey, a couple of us hiked up
across the canyon to mingle with the last day of hunting season (bow & arrow) and came across a group where a youngin' had bagged himself one nicely sized deer. Dinner anyone?
