1) Who is the most inspirational male outside athlete ever? Never thought about it. 2) What's your favorite place that you've been to on the planet? East Baldpate Mountain in Grafton Twp, ME 3) What gear innovation would you like to see most? Light weight boots. 4) What are the first five songs you would play on your ideal roadtrip? The Subdudes -Papa Duke and The Mud PeopleGuster- One Man Wrecking MachineMika- Billy BrownPet Shop Boys- SomewhereZebda-Tomber La Chemise 5) Where would you build your ideal vacation house and name three features? Bethel, Maine, it would be an earth-mass house withpassive solar heating and a dishwasher. 6) What book do you pack when you head out on an adventure? The trail book and my personal journal. I have entries in the current journal that go back to 1998. It is funny to read my thoughts from five years ago on a rainy night.7) If you could solve one challenge facing our world, what would it be? None- I believe the struggle to solve world challenges are just as important as overcoming them. 8) If you could do "lunch" with someone who would it be? And why? Thomas Jefferson, just to check in and see if this is what he was thinking of as he was writing the Declaration of Independence; also to tell him that we have national public education.9) GayOutdoors has a passion to make it better--in the communities where we live and the environment we cherish. Let us know how you are making a difference in your hometown. I live in an environmentally friendly sustainable home. The walls, floors and roofs are from renewable resource and processed with minimal chemicals and absolutely no VOC's. I heat my home with only renewable and sustainable resources mostly from my land. I reduce the amount of contaminated drinking water by not going #1 or #2 in drinking water unlike most Americans. I use a compost toilet. I buy my produce locally from an organic farmer 6 miles down the road, although I do not eat seasonally - that is way to radical for me. 10) Finally, are you a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or Matrix person? Star Wars all six episodes.
