Summary

Please join us for an easy loop hike at Waterville Valley to the Snow's Mountain chairlift with great views of Mount Osceola and Mount Tecumseh.     The walking is on cross country ski trails (carriage roads) with easy walking and gentle grade up.   The hike is about 4.5-5 miles and less than 500 feet of elevation gain.  We will go up via the Connector, Greeley Path, Livermore Rd, and Upper Snow's trails.   On the way we can pause for a few minutes if anyone wants to admire the first of the cascades.   We will have lunch at the top of the chairlift.   From the top of the chairlift we then walk steeply down for the last part back to the car on Beanbender, which is steep for the short portion down but still good footing.   We were up there last weekend and there was only an inch or two of snow at most, so there isn't a need for microspikes.    If people like we may stop for beverages after.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Google Map "Cascade Path, Boulder Path Road, Waterville Valley, NH".    There is a large parking lot there, and it's right by the bottom of the Snow's Mountain chairlift (not running this time of year) and the Waterville Valley Academy.     If anyone wants to meet at Mad River Coffee (right off of Rt 49 after you get off I-93) and carpool, feel free to reach out and we can coordinate.
