Summary

Mount Chocorua is calling. This is a great hike with spectacular views.  The hike is a loop - slightly under 9 miles.  Starting at the Piper Trailhead we will take the following trails on our ascent: Piper, Nickerson, Carter Ledge, Middle Sister then back on Piper to the summit. Our descent will be via the Liberty trail onto Hammond to the Weetamoo (a beautiful trail) then back onto Piper.  (NOTE:  this route covers one of the "Terrifying 25" - if you wish you can stay on the Piper Trail and meet us at the intersection -or- at the summit).

There are terrific views from the Sisters and 360 views from Mount Chocoura. To quote one website: “Mt. Chocorua looks like the summit of a peak you may find in the Colorado Rockies!”
