Let’s take a walk through history – queer style. Join us as we explore Boston’s Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile red-brick path that winds through the heart of the city and connects 16 historic sites, from Boston Common to the Bunker Hill Monument.
Along the way, we’ll take in colonial-era architecture, and revolution-era stories. Expect fun facts, cute photo ops, and good company!
We’ll go at a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks for resting, chatting, and possibly grabbing snacks or drinks along the way.
- Meet-Up Spot: We'll gather at the Boston Common Visitor Center (139 Tremont St). Look for someone holding a little rainbow flag or wearing something fabulously queer.
- Transportation Tips: Boston is T-accessible! If you're coming from out of town, let us know – we’ll help coordinate carpools or train meetups.
- Weather Plan: This is an outdoor event – if the weather looks stormy, we’ll reschedule and post updates here.
Let’s walk, learn, and make a little queer history of our own.
