Let’s hit the trail together for a morning hike up Mount Major followed by a casual lunch and hangout!
We'll be hiking the Brook and Main Trail loop:
Distance: 3.9 miles Elevation gain: 1,151 ft Estimated time: ~2 hours 20 minutes Difficulty: Moderate
This is a beautiful, forested hike that becomes steeper and rockier as we approach the summit – but the payoff is totally worth it! At the top, you’ll find stunning panoramic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains, along with the historic stone remains of Mr. Phippen’s Hut.
Dogs are welcome – but must be kept on a leash.
Trail Tips:
* Hiking shoes with good grip are highly recommended. * Bring water, snacks, and sunscreen. * A light jacket may be good if it's breezy at the summit. Social Lunch:
After the hike, we’ll relax with a picnic-style lunch at the summit or stop somewhere nearby to grab a bite, depending on the group vibe. Either way, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy the views, recharge, and connect!
