Summary

Sundance welcomes you to explore New Canaan's charming old town center and beautiful country roads with grand estates and woodlands. This scenic two-wheeled tour, which is moderate in pace and distance, is ideal for almost all skill levels.
We'll embark from the train station and meander through the town's outlying neighborhoods on a circuit route, with lunch and a visit to Grace Farms. We will be riding on secondary roads with some light car traffic and rolling hills including a few significant climbs. Colorful spring foliage will also enhance the scenic, appx 19-mile route.

Grace Farms is a center for pursuing a more ethical and peaceful world. Its 2015 "River" building is a unique LEED-certified architectural response to the landscape with a sinuous floating canopy above several glass pavilions. We plan to buy lunch at the excellent cafe and explore the grounds before riding briefly through New York State, re-entering Connecticut, and heading south toward our starting point. Hill walkers, and E-bikes are especially welcome on this ride co-sponsored by Sundance.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot
