This hike was mostly down hill and was extended one mile past the campground to a trailhead on the river and connected with a previous hike.

View on this hike were wonderful. The trail was very rocky and rooty much of the way. Near the end of the hike we had a very steep scramble over boulders, which pushed this hike in to the strenuous catagory.

Over three days of hiking there were plenty of mountain laurels blooming, but rhododendrons. On this hie we say two purple blooms.
