Our drive from Richmond started out sunny and very humid after the recent rains so our arrival was a bit of a shock when it was very foggy, misty, and quite cool. For those that brought a long sleeve shirt, pull-over or sweater, it was immediately pulled out. For those that didn't (me) compromise was needed and a small throw blanket fit the bill.
We set up camp and relaxed by the fire until dinner time when we were hit with a rain shower so we all huddled in the shelter we put up over the picnic table and prepared our meal. The rain ended and it was near our bedtime so we all prepared for bed.
