Please join me for a spring ride along this 15 mile section of the Hop Brook Railtrail.  We'll meet at a parking area just off I-84 and ride the 15+/- miles to Andover and return for a total

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

From 84W take Exit 63 and turn right onto Deming St/Route 30 which becomes Tolland Turnpike/Routes 30 & 83.  From 84E take exit 63 and turn left onto Tolland Turnpike/Routes 30 & 83.  Turn right onto Parker St (there's a right-turn-only lane and a sign for Big Y supermarket).  At the 2nd traffic light turn left onto Colonial Road and take the next immediate left into the parking lot for Hop Brook RailTrail.

Jon, Ken, & Fred cruised the historic Hop River Rail Trail in warming sun, +- 28 miles RT, taking in the historic markers along the way.  Great start of the biking season, many thanks for Jon for leading.
