Hi there. I'm in Massachusetts, so not interested in a Washington trip but wanted to suggest you expand on your idea a bit so people can know what you're thinking about. Are you talking about car camping, where you park at or near the campsite - and maybe do a hike or two from that campsite? Or are you talking about backpacking? Also, were you thinking of one or two nights camping, like over a weekend?
