Trip Report/Photos

Day dawned bright and clear and promised to be a great late-summer hiking day.  A wonderful group of GO members gathered @ 11AM and began the grueling ascent of Mt Morgan.  After scaling wooden ladders and crawling through a cave, we arrived at the cliffs with terrific views south to Squam Lake, Lake Winnepesaukee and surrounding mountains and enjoyed lunch.  Then traversed the ridge to Mt Percival for more great views - both natural scenery and some other male hikers out for the day.  Steady decent with good comraderie all along the way - a perfect day.
