About Mount Airy:

Mount Airy Forest was established in 1911 and covers 1,400+ acres. In the 19th century the land was deforested and ultimately left barren do to erosion and poor land management.

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

Dayton, and Points West:

  • Take the exit onto I-75 S toward Cincinnati.
  • Take exit 4 for I-74 W/US-52 W/US-27 N toward Indianapolis.
  • Merge onto I-74/US-27 N/US-52 W.
  • Take exit 18 to merge onto US-27 N/Beekman St toward Colerain Ave.
  • Slight left onto Colerain Ave.

Columbus and Points North and East:

  • From  I-71 South, take exit 14 for OH-126/Ronald Reagan Hwy.
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Ohio 126 W/Ronald Reagan W and merge on OH-126 W.
  • Take the exit on the left on to I-75 South toward Cincinnati.
  • Take exit 4 for I-74 W/US-52 W/US-27 N toward Indianapolis.
  • Merge onto I-74/US-27 N/US-52 W.
  • Take exit 18 to merge onto US-27 N/Beekman St toward Colerain Ave.
  • Slight left onto Colerain Ave
