Yep, a Gay Outdoors event in TENNESSEE!!
Last year, I pledged to Gay Outdoors to host a camping trip in Tennessee - then went and got hired. Ugh, all my spare time became non-existent.
Now, I am

With no "YES" responses from members of Gay Outdoors, I told my sister and some friends about my plans. The friends also reserved a campsite and my sister promised to join us for some time on Saturday.
Upon setting up on Friday, my camping friends and I "hit the trails" (okay, the ADA greenway) to hunt for some geocaches before the sun set. Then had a very fun evening of dinner, games, and story telling. Saturday morning, we rented a pontoon boat and head out to find caches area the lake, one on an island! We returned to the dock at noon to pick up my sister - who, unbeknownst to me, organized a surprise birthday party for me - with about 30 of our closest geocaching friends! What a surprise!
We then headed out in the boat again; hunted for another cache or two, but concentrated on just enjoying the ride, and pulling those interested around the lake on an innertube - more fun! Saturday evening was also spent sharing more dinner, more games, and more story telling (plus some new moans and groans over sore muscles and new sunburns).
Sunday morning was spent caching some more along the greenway in the State Park and then on our way to Winchester, TN where we enjoyed some bar-be-que lunch before heading home.
I heard rumors about doing it again next year...
