Come join in on a fun day in two states (PA & NJ) as we sample the tow paths along the Delaware River. Meeting at the Solebury Township Canal Park which is park of the Delaware Canal State Park
Take Rte 202 to Rte 32 North (Pennsylvania Side of Delaware River). As soon as you get off rte Rte. 202 and start to head north on Rte. 32 the parking entrance to the trail is right there on the right.
From NJ via Rte 202 heading south, as soon as you cross over the Delaware River (over the bridge), you pay the tool, you then take the first exit on the right to exit off Rte. 202. Exit will say "New Hope", Rte. 32. Once at end of exit ramp, at stop sign turn left to head North on Rte 32, and immediately turn right into the parking lot for Solebury Township Canal Park. If heading south on Rte. 32 in PA (down along the Delaware River), you will see this Solebury Township Canal Park parking lot on your left, just before you get to Rte. 202 (will see the highway bridge over head, ahead of you e, and will see the power lines just over head too.). If traveling north on Rte. 32 along the river heading north through New Hope, the park is on your right just after you go under the Rte. 202 bridge & under the power lines.
We will meet in the parking lot of Solebury Township Canal Park.

Turned out to be a beautiful spring day. Weather warmed up, the rained passed us by, and to boot we had lots of guys join in (some new actually). Ended up we spent the whole afternoon on a 7 mile hike that started in this park and over the new bridge to over the canal to the tow path (see pic of us starting out). From there we went up the PA side of their canel, crossed over from New Hope, PA into Lambertvill, NJ up up their canel tow path. To our surprise, it brought us to one of the larger NJ area flea markets which we took in for a bit and a pit stop, then headed back into town for lunch (Italian Style). Met lots of new guys, caught up with old friends. Thanks to all for a very pleasant and full day.
