Meet at the Two Medicine Campground, Glacier National Park on Sunday, August 4th AM to allow a hike on Monday.  Let me know if I should secure a site for you, they're generally gone by afternoon.
Look for a stenciled sign "GO" at the site with the cool retro Alaskan Camper on a black Ford PU with veteran's license plates.

Trip Report/Photos
Featured Photo Incredibly clear weather was enjoyed by 3 members attending the Glacier National Park outing. On Monday we took the MV Sinopah across Two Medicine Lake to the trailhead to Dawson Pass. A 4 mile hike with 2,400' elevation gain led to the pass. Moderately strong winds were encountered at the pass, but the views down into the Nyack Valley and of the Pumpelly Glacier were superb. A thunderstorm was encountered just as the group boarded the MV Sinopah to head back to the campground. The storm ended as the dock was reached. After a day's rest, showers, a tour of the 100 year old "Glacier Park Lodge" and some shopping in East Glacier, the group was ready to climb the Mt. Henry Trail to a secluded point about 2,500' above the valley. The views were very impressive with the panorama of the prairie meeting the mountains to the east and the Continental Divide to the west. A leisurely lunch was enjoyed after a short rest in the warm sunshine. The campground was very quiet and orderly with CG hosts and NPS Rangers. This is an area that bears a repeat, perhaps at the Many Glacier area next year. Thanks to all for a great week!
