The trailhead is just off the Pacific Coast Hwy (north of Malibu and just over the Ventura County line). From Los Angles, drive north on the PCH... pass the turn-off for Big Sycamore Canyon Campground. About 1.5 miles beyond Big Sycamore, look for a turn-off on the right (past the sand dunes) for La Jola Canyon/Ray Miller Trail. There is a lot; parking is $10. If you park on PCH, check the signs; if you park illegally, you will get a ticket. Invite a friend and carpool.
