 A vigorous nine-switchback climb to the 1,335-foot summit overlooking Brattleboro, Vermont, and the Connecticut River. The trail to the top of Wantastiquet Mountain is wide and easy to follow,

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

From the center of  Brattleboro Vermont at the main intersection that has the Brattleboro Food Coop. take route 119 to hinsdale NH (next town over from Brattleboro).  Once you cross the state line and are past the bridge take your first left.  Take that road a very short distance to the end and park were ever you can find a spot.  If you get to the Wal-mart you have missed the road. If coming from the other direction you take a right after the Wal-Mart enterance. I will be in a black acura integra.  It is a dog friendly hike.
