Join me and a local friend for a hike around Halfway Pond and a soup social afterwards on Long Pond. We will hike 5 miles around the shores of the pond and through the conservation areas surrounding
We will meet at noon at the Long Pond Boat Ramp on West Long Pond Road. Take Route 3 to Exit 3. At the end of the ramp head west on Clark Road. For those coming from the north it will be a right at the end of the ramp. For those coming from the south it will be left. Follow Clark Road west a short distance to a Stop Sign where it meets Long Pond Road. Go across Long Pond Road diagonally to the left to continue on Clark Road. At the end of Clark Road look to your left and you will see Long Pond. Head left down the hill to the boat ramp and meet me at the parking area on the right.
