Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

The western entrace is accessed via Breedlove Road, not too far from Cashiers. This entrance is referred to as the Salt Rock Gap entrance. Directions:

From NC 107/US64 junction in Cashiers, take US64 east for 2 miles to Cedar Creek Rd (SR 1120), on left. Take Cedar Creek Rd 2.3 miles to Breedlove Road (SR 1121)? on right. Take Breedlove Road 3.5 miles to parking.

Here's a description about parking specifics, which I've lifted from a website: "Access to this parking area is a bit rough after you come to the end of Breedlove Road and the end of the pavement. If you have a low car you WILL scrape in at least one spot and possibly pretty badly. There is a large mud hole just before you arrive at the parking area that is impossible to go around. In dry weahter it could be fine though. We suggest (if you don't have at least 12-16 in. of clearance) that you park at the end of the pavement on Breedlove Road. There is a wide cul-de-sac here, so there is room to get out of the main road. The West entrance of Panthertown Valley is a short distance from here and is road bed the entire way"

I will be there a bit before 9:00 in my light brown, 2003 Honda CRV. I'll be the short, skinny, balding guy with an orange pack!
