South Rim Loop Hike

We'll meet up at the main trailhead in the Basin near the visitor center and lodge at 9.30AM.  In order to avoid retracing our steps to/from the South Rim, we'll take the Laguna Meadow Trail 6.3

We will meet at 9.30AM at the main trailhead in the Chisos Basin on the west side of the parking lot, Basin store, and the Chisos Mtns Lodge.  The Chisos Basin is in the center of Big Bend National Park in far southwest Texas.  The park is about 3.5 hours east of El Paso, 3 hours south of Midland, and 6 hours west of San Antonio or Austin.
