We will meet at the scenic overlook in Intervale and travel south along 16 to River Road. We will follow River Road to West Side Road south and take that to Pasaconaway Road. Passaconaway
The Intervale Scenic Overlook is under 2 miles from the last traffic light in North Conway on Route 12 (White Mountain Highway).
Great day for a bike ride. Ron and I started from the scenic vista in Intervale and rode south along 16 to River Road. Here we turned right and headed across First Bridge to West Side Road. Turning onto West Side Road gives great views of Cathedral and White Horse Ledges. We traveled south on West Side to Pasaconaway Road where we turned right and headed about 6 miles to The Albany Covered Bridge where we stopped for a brief water break and to admire the cutie running shirtless by us. After crossing the covered bridge we were on the Kanc headed downhill to route 16 in Conway. At 16 we turned left and followed Main Street (16) to Washington Street and back onto West Side Road headed north and passed 2 more covered bridges, the Conway Bridge and the Swift River Bridge. From West Side we turned back onto River Road and then 16 for the return to the scenic vista. Total trip: 30.5 miles, time: 2 1/2 hours.
It was a good ride with great compny..........we took it steady but relaxed. Thanks, Ron for joining me.
