It went really well!!  The rainbow was a bonus from the rains we had on the pleasure boat at Big Bear Lake!

There were some technical glitches with the park itself..which we're writing to complain about (ran out of water for a time and bathrooms backed up..ick!)  Had an unexpected thunderstorm which scared a few campers off...(I thought it was kinda exciting!).

Hey guys, wanted to add that it was probably not a bear that got into one of the tents.  I checked out the damage to the tent and food containers.  The bites on the containers and avocado seem more the right size for a racoon or two.  But the whole weekend was a lot of fun.  I personally like the rain and hail.  It's a nice change of pace from sunny San Diego!  I camp at least once a month (usually here in SoCal) so keep in touch, guys!

And the Pleides meteor shower was a nice bonus to the trip!  Thanks for pulling things together, guys!
