7. Turn RIGHT onto VA-628/ ROCKY HOLLOW RD. 0.2 miles

Note. Gravel road begins. You will see a sign on the fence Massanutten Canoe Co.

8. Take 1st LEFT onto VA-629  0.30 miles

There's a mailbox for the Munson's right after the turn.

9. This is where it gets tricky. Follow RT 629 all the way to the end. (This will take you down a steep hill to the river. If you're traveling at night, you won't see it until you're right on it. Go slow or you'll end up in the river!)

10. Turn left when you reach the river. Continue driving on the gravel road alongside the Shenandoah River. You will pass a lonely street sign on your left, Crystal River Road. The road will end at the entrance to the farm.

After you are through the main gate, there's a sign for Massanutten Canoe Co., and a sign that says Private Property - Do Not Enter. ENTER ANYWAY! - YOUR HERE FOR CAMPING. YOU GO GIRL

NOTE: LANDMARK - You will see an old house on the right with trailers of canoe's in the yard. (You might not see this at night.)

Follow the road into the deep woods - DRIVE SLOW PLEASE.

When you exit the deep woods, you will come to a large field on your right. Keep on going.

NOTE: You might see some cows. No tipping please.

The main road will turn to the right, stay with it. Look for a sign that say's CAMPING you will pass through another gate, drive on.

You're almost there.

If you’re attending the FAB Festival or a scheduled camping weekend at campsites 7 – 11, then follow the road and curve to the left; the campsites will be off on the river to your right. The campsites are about halfway down. Look for the campsite number signs on the trees. If we are camping at sites 3 – 6, you will want to stay to your right when the grass road splits at the river. The campsites will be along the river on your left. The trees are marked with white numbered signs. If we are at campsites #1 or #2 please You must make an immediate right after the last gate that leads to the lower field. This turn is easy to miss so watch carefully for the Right Turn. Do not attempt to drive from campsite #3 to campsite #2 along the shoreline at night or anytime. You will end up in a six-foot gully and needing a tow truck.

Please feel free to drive into the woods and unload your car. After you have unload your gear, please park your vehicle in the field. No parking is allowed in the wooded areas during the weekend.
