We will hike the cart paths and trails of Buck Hill Management Area and the adjacent Douglas State Forest in the Northwest corner of Rhode Island. We will hike to the tri-state marker at the boundary
Directions from the Worchester and Boston area are; Route 395 south to Exit 1, at the exit take Route 193 south into Connecticut then take a left on to East Thompson Road and go past the Thompson Speedway. Take a right on to Spicer Road and then a left on to Quaddick Farm Road and then a right on to Buck Hill Road. We are meeting at the parking area up a unnamed dirt road just before the large sign for the Buck Hill Management Area on Buck Hill Road. I will post a GO sign at the turn. If one drives past a fire tower on the right they have gone to far. From RI and take Route 295 to Route 44 west to Route 100 north. Take Route 100 north to Buck Hill Road. The unnamed dirt road will be on your right immediately after the Buck Hill Management Area sign.
