On this hike we will see a few different tree species: red oak, ironwood, butternut, maple, elm and basswood.
It should be a pretty easy hike and it looks like we'll have fantastic
From U.S. Highway 12 at Long Lake, go to Brown Road and travel north 0.8 mile. At the intersection with County Road 6, park directly across the road in the Trinity Lutheran Church lot. A small sign in the northeast corner of the lot leads to the trail.
This ended up being a solo hike but it was fantastic. I'm definitely going to come back to Wolsfeld sometime soon to explore more of it's trails.
The place was easy to find and the trails were nice overall. Not well marked, but it would be pretty difficult to get lost in there. The one downside is that a couple of the trails run along side a road, though this was minimal. There were some decent hills which made for good varied terrian.
