We'll start in Intervale at the scenic overlook and ride northwest on 16/302, staying on 302 til Bartlett where we will pick up Bear Notch Road and head southwest to the Kanc. We will turn
16 north thru North Conway to the Intervale Scenic Overlook on the left. We'll park in the southern end of the lot.
The loop from the Intervale Scenic Vista up to Bear Notch Road and the down to the Kanc, back to West Side Road and north back to the car was 39.3 miles and I accomplished it in 3 hrs 30 minutes. The start of Bear Notch Road was the most difficult part as it is a 5 mile incline that had be riding in first gear, 2...................That part alone consumed about 45 minutes, while the 4.8 miles down took about 10. It was a gorgeous day for riding......................
