If you dont this already, Nantucket has a great deal paved biking trails that go all over the island. Biking on the island is a really good way to explore the island, outside of the down town area.

...
Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

The meeting spot will be at "the rotary" near the stop and shop. To get there from down town, you will get on main st and take that up the hill till to see orange st on your left. Take orange st for about a mile untill you get to the rotary. That where we will meet. I will have a sign that say GO to signal the meeting spot.

To get to the island, you can either fly from hyannis, take the speed ferries ( hyline or steamship authority) or you can take traditional slow ferry ( the sheapest ) which is steamship authority. There are a few places to rent a bike here if you dont want to bring your bike over which you can on the boats. If there are enough of you that will rent, I can get a good discount on bikes.
