Comment: Kayaking from Lamoine state park was just great. We say, porpoise close enough to hear and see air from their "blow holes", seals, a bald eagle, and the scenery (see photos) was spectacular! We did a novice trip from our put-in at the Frenchman's Bay beach at the park and then, those with spay skirts and boat handling skills to match, paddled around Scoodic Point and finished the weekend at the sea kayakers paradise, Stonington! Thanks to Tom and Jeff for organizing the trip.
