Trip Report/Photos

After two rainouts we finally made it to the island!

Over 20 guys turned out for a gorgeous day in the bay. A rather picturesque ferry ride took us past Alcatraz and dropped us off at Ayala Cove. I short walk up from our drop off point brought us the recently renovated Immigration Center where we ventured around the grounds. We had lunch at one of the picnic areas on our way to the the top of Mt. Livermore, the highest point on the island.

Some of us stuck around for an early dinner at Ninja Sushi where great conversation flowed freely.

A great way to while away the day in SF!
