From the trailhead, we'll start up Glorieta Canyon through a forest of oak and pine trees. By about 2.3 miles, the forest becomes more spruce and fir and the route is fairly shaded. At 3.3
Contact hike organizer for details and carpooling options from Santa Fe but the hike begins next to the Glorieta Conference Center about 16 miles East of Santa Fe off I-25. Parking is at the designated area for hikers off Oak Street and should be marked or someone at the center's main gate should be able to give directions.
