Raven Rocks is an out crop of rocks with a splendid view, one of the best in the area. It is located along the Appalachian Trail less that .5 miles north of Raven Rock Hollow Rd. The hike begins in

The weather was overcast and clouds hung low, but it didn't rain and the temperature was perfect. This is one of my favorite hikes because it's relatively short, easy to get to, and gives you a decent workout in the beautiful outdoors. As a bonus, there was virtually no one else on the trail.
