2012 GayOutdoors Photography Contest

by Mike Boisvert

  1. Thanks to all the contestants who entered our contest. There were some beautiful photos entered for all of us to enjoy!
GO members have voted and chosen this year's winner! This year we had a clear winner. Our winner won by a large margin. It appears that this year members enjoyed the action based mountaineering photos on Mount Shasta more than scenic landscape photos.

The final rankings are now posted counting down from last to first.

Our winner this year is Tim Buchanan from East Aurora, New York, who will receive a check for $50. The quality of the competition and photos is getting better each year and they continue to step up to the challenge. Let's give everyone who participated a BIG round of applause!!!

The challenge for next year's photo contest is whether there will be more action based outdoor photos! You have twelve months to compose and shoot.

Congratulations Tim!
