Join us for the GayOutdoors Annual Member Celebration—an evening of friendship, great food, volunteer recognition, exciting announcements, and a very special world premiere.

Whether you’ve hiked with us all year or are just discovering GayOutdoors, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate another incredible year of outdoor adventure and community.

This year, we’ll recognize the volunteer event hosts whose time, enthusiasm, and leadership make our adventures possible. As a special thank-you, every event host attending the celebration will receive a complimentary GayOutdoors hat.

If you’re in the Boston area, we encourage members to organize hikes, walks, bike rides, or other activities earlier in the day and make it a full day of GayOutdoors fun!

We’ll have our own private room and bar at Club Café, giving us plenty of space to relax, catch up, and celebrate together.

Featured Presentation — World Premiere

A New Hampshire PBS Windows to the Wild Episode

Be among the very first to see the premiere of this special episode, filmed at the Boisvert & Normand Nature Preserve with longtime Windows to the Wild host Willem Lange.

The program follows GayOutdoors founder Mike Boisvert as he shares his personal journey—from growing up in the closet to finding confidence, belonging, and purpose through the outdoors.

Along the way, Mike reflects on how hiking, conservation, and the GayOutdoors community helped shape his life while fostering LGBTQ+ visibility in outdoor recreation over the past five decades.

Heartfelt, inspiring, and uplifting, it’s a story about resilience, community, and discovering where you truly belong.
