While others tackled trails on foot at the GO Gathering, Rick and I opted for a more leisurely adventure by riding the Bretton Woods Gondola to the summit. The reward was nothing short of spectacular. Mt. Washington and the rest of the Presidential Range stretched out before us in all their glory, with dramatic clouds swirling around the summits to create an ever-changing mountain panorama.

After taking in the scenery, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the outdoor deck of the Switchback Grille. With the Presidential Range as our backdrop, it was hard to imagine a more beautiful place to relax, share a meal, and appreciate the beauty of New Hampshire's White Mountains. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon and a wonderful complement to the GO Gathering weekend's hiking adventures.
