Copy/Repost Hike

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at: The parking lot at the Trailhead will be full at 830AM so we will carpool over to the trailhead from my house (15 minutes from the trailhead) or the Parking Lot at the Tram Exit 34B at 8-815AM. Please email me for directions to the house or Tram Parking Lot if needed. Hikers staying over on Friday night at the house can spot cars at the trailhead parking lot on Friday evening so their car will be available at the trailhead when they finish their hike.

We enjoyed beautiful summer weather- sunny and warm for our hike. Heading up the Falling Waters Trail we enjoyed many waterfalls and then "rocketed" up (LOL) to the summit of Little Haystack. After a brief break we continued along the Franconia Ridge, stopping for a leisurely "Lincoln" lunch and continued to Lafayette. The summit was warm with a light breeze- perfect for hiking! Heading down from the summit, we stopped at the Greenleaf Hut for soup and snacks & then continued down to the trailhead. After the hike, we enjoyed nachos and pizza at Bear Pond and enjoyed the sunset with a bonfire.
