Join us on this 8.2-mile out-and-back trail near Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Generally considered a challenging route with an elevation gain of 3218 feet, it takes an average of 5 h 45 min to complete.
We will carpool over to the trailhead from my house (10 minutes from trailhead) at 845AM. Please email me for directions to the house if you need them.
We had awesome mid-winter conditions for the North & South Kinsmans hike- snow-packed trails with no ice, bright blue sunny skies, snow plastered trees, light winds and a spectacular undercast at the viewpoint on Mt. North Kinsman! We were able to hike at a fairly quick pace because of the great conditions so were able to do both summits of Kinsman & still finish by about 2PM!
