Summary

Join GayOutdoors for a memorable White Mountains adventure during GO Gathering as we head to Bretton Woods for a scenic gondola ride to the summit of Rosebrook Mountain, breathtaking views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range, and lunch together on the outdoor deck at the summit.

We’ll ride the scenic gondola up to Rosebrook Lodge where we’ll enjoy lunch at the Switchback Grille, featuring panoramic mountain views and outdoor deck seating—perfect for relaxing, connecting with old friends, and meeting new ones.

After lunch, those who are interested may join an optional hike on West Mountain Trail, an approximately 1.6-mile out-and-back trail with beautiful summit views. Participation in the hike will depend on my recovery from knee replacement surgery. If I’m not ready, you guys can still go and I’ll just have another beer until you guys come back.

Important Notes
Participants are responsible for their own gondola ticket and lunch. Ticket is $43.
Gondola operates weather permitting.
Seating at lunch can be limited and/or they may be a wait.
Trekking poles are recommended for those participating in the optional hike.
Carpooling from camp minimizes our carbon footprint and keeps the group together.

Camping is free for all Sustaining Members and $10 for everyone else. However you do not have to be signed up for the GO Gathering to join this hike.

If you prefer not to camp, we will have a potluck around 6:30 and welcome to join.
