Hey everyone! We’ve got a great moderate loop lined up this weekend at Bear Brook State Park

Trail: Lynx & Beaver Pond Loop

Difficulty: Moderate

This is a really nice, quieter trail with a mix of forest, pond views, and wildlife spotting, great for birding and just getting some space in nature. It’s typically less crowded than other nearby spots, which makes for a more relaxed group hike.

Parking / Meet-Up: 199 Podunk Rd, Candia, NH 03033
Dogs: Welcome, but must be leashed
Park Fee: Bear Brook State Park charges an entrance fee (day pass or annual pass required)

What To Expect:

– Steady but manageable terrain (good intro to moderate hikes)
– Some uneven ground and mild elevation changes
– A chill, social pace with regroup points

What To Bring:

– Water + snacks
– Sturdy shoes (trail runners or hiking boots recommended)
– Layers depending on weather

Readiness & Pace: This hike is best suited for folks comfortable with ~5 miles at a moderate pace. We’ll take short regroup breaks, but the overall pace will be steady to keep the group moving.
