Workshop Description
Many GayOutdoors trips are simple, relaxed hikes — and they only happen when members step forward to lead them.
This Easy Trip Leadership Workshop is designed to help members feel confident leading their first GayOutdoors trip, especially easy hikes of 2–4 miles. You don’t need to be an expert hiker or experienced leader — most trips are simply about bringing people together outdoors and creating a welcoming group experience. The workshop will walk through the basics of planning and leading an easy trip, keeping the group together, and creating a fun and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels included.
We will provide the Zoom link to members who register via email a couple days before the workshop.
Leading a trip is one of the best ways to meet members, share places you enjoy, and help grow the GayOutdoors community.
This is the only time this workshop will be offered in 2026.
