The trail was technically challenging because how wet, muddy and slippery it was. I hiked in cool condition with no bug to speak of. I only saw two hikers including a visitor from Marseilles. I skipped Whiteface Mountain as it barely has any views. At the end, I logged in 9.5 miles over three and a half hours for 2,700 elevation gain.
