From US-2 in Plainfield, head south to cross the Winooski River on Main Street. After the bridge, turn right onto Mill Street and proceed for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Brook Road. After 1.5 miles, turn left onto Fowler Road. After another 1.5 miles, turn right onto East Hill Road. After 0.7 miles, turn left onto Spruce Mountain Road. Stay left. The trailhead will be on the right after 1.0 mile.
