Will be a nice hike. Chiltern will make this trip a good duo. Thanks. Tim
Howdy gents! Just putting a feeler out to gauge interest in a half-day paddle at Lake Quinsigammond in Worcester. Quinsigammond is a popular spot for boaters, paddlers and competitive rowers and has a few small islands to explore. Lake access is… >>Read More and View "Who Likes It"
In case vfoks haven't seen it, this has been posted on the event calendar for 7/20 here: https://www.gayoutdoors.org/page.cfm?sectionid=103&typeofsite=events-detail&id=5861&status=
Great idea. I could do Sunday, 6/30, or most weekend days in July. I'll be bringing my own kayak, and according to the Go Paddling app, there are many drop-in points.
Howdy Gents! Am thinking about a Season Starter to warm up the glutes and the quads for what will hopefully be a summer of hiking my pants off! Been away from the trail for a while, so thinking something easy-ish like Monadnock or the Welch-Dicke… >>Read More and View "Who Likes It"
hey gents, not sure if folks respond to these but I'm thinking of posting Welch Dickey hike for 11/16. I can't make the party the night before unfortunately but with a late start (like 9:30) i thought a) extend the GO summer season festivities for the weekend, OR officially kick off the GO winter season and b) folks might want to burn off some calories from the Club Café gathering. Thoughts?
Hey guys. In case anyone missed it, I posted this hike last night. Feel free to sign up if you're available!

Eddie, A GO hike/eclipse event in the Rochester area appeals to me. Two beautiful state parks with hiking potential are Letchworth and Stony Brook. I would definitely try to be a part of this! Tom
I'm glad to see the comments. for the eclipse I think it's a bad idea for me to organize something. I would drive with my car and would follow the eclipse to where hopefully there's low or no clouds - paying attention to weather/cloud predictions the day before and the day of. this would be my first meetup with GO so to avoid stress of coordinating with both clouds and people, I'll let someone else organize this if they want to. I like the idea myself!
Hi, looking for a hiking bud or two or more for a hike on sunday. I'm open to hikes in the Whites depending on where you're coming from. I was thinking Osceola or something near Waterville Valley but open to other ideas. … >>Read More and View "Who Likes It"
I will be in the Whites Sunday and Monday. Hopefully Peak this weekend!?? Hiked the Osceola's two weeks ago but if you need it for your 48 I’ll do them again. Off the beaten path is good too. Chuck
Sorry JB, hit "like" by mistake, I can't make it on Sunday.
