Summary

Hey everyone! I’m planning an epic, high-energy trip to Glacier National Park for the first week of August and am looking for a few awesome people to team up with, split costs, and hit the trails.

I’m flying in all the way from Fort Lauderdale, FL into Missoula, MT. The plan is a fast-paced, action-packed 4 to 5 days of incredible mountain views and big miles.

The Game Plan:

When: August 1st week (Peak season, everything is melted and green!)

Logistics: Fly into Missoula, rent a vehicle, and drive

2.5 hours north to the park.

Hikes: Looking to crush 2 major 10+ mile hikes. Top contenders are the world-famous Highline Trail (cliffside views) and Grinnell Glacier or Iceberg Lake (stunning turquoise waters and floating ice chunks).

Stay: Flexible! Looking to either grab a last-minute campground/hotel cancellation inside the park, split a private campsite just outside the gates, or do some free car-camping/dispersed camping on nearby Flathead National Forest land.

Who I'm looking for:
Positive, active, bear-aware hikers who can handle 10+ miles at high elevation and don't mind waking up early (we need to hit trailheads by 6:00 AM to beat the new 2026 parking limits!).

If you want to split a rental car, share a campsite, or just meet up at the trailheads to hike together so we have safety in numbers (grizzly country!), drop a comment or send me a DM! Let's make it happen. ????
