Join us for a beautiful forest hike at Nottingcook! This trail is known for its peaceful atmosphere, moss-covered rocks, and scenic views – including the stunning overlook at Woodbury Overlook. • Location: Nottingcook Forest Trails • Trail: Nottingcook Forest Loop • Distance: 5.3 miles (loop) • Elevation Gain: ~790 ft • Estimated Time: 2.5–3 hours • Difficulty: Moderate What To Expect This is a moderate hike, and we’ll be keeping a steady, moderate pace throughout. The trail includes: • Rocky and uneven terrain • Some elevation gain • Occasional slippery sections • Blazes that can be tricky to follow (we’ll navigate as a group) We’ll take short breaks as needed, but this is not a slow or beginner-level hike. Please Read Before Joining Please take a moment to honestly assess your current fitness level and make sure this hike feels like a good fit for your body.
