• About me: : Two years ago, I survived total heart failure / cardiac arrest. I am currently at the end of a very long two year recovery. I've been doing runs up to Weston Observatory in Manchester and have hiked Mount Uncanoonuc in preparation for more strenuous trails in the future.

• Outdoor Experience: : I've been hiking and camping since my parents had me strapped in and hanging out of a backpack when I was an infant. I'm a shorts sneakers, t-shirt, and water bottle hit the trail kind of guy. Not much experience with hiking gear, though I do have my own camping equipment. Pointers welcome.
