• About me: : Single guy, divorced with a couple of adult kids (not living with me) who I’m great friends with, living in the Fingerlakes area of NY, and I’m still working a professional job. What I’d really like to do is to meet a group of like-minded guys who enjoy outdoor adventures. I do a fair amount of outdoor activities but usually just by myself. My free time is increasing from life’s obligations and I’d like to enjoy more adventure traveling in the northeast.
• Favorite Places: : Gore mountain skiing, salmon river kayaking, fingerlakes hiking, southwick beach Lake Ontario biking and swimming, camping and pickleball playing at Empire Haven, or just kicking back on the back deck of my house with a few good friends.
• Outdoor Experience: : I bought an electric mountain bike this spring and am always looking for new trails. I just tried the Adirondack rail trail near Tupper lake, then I hiked Ampersand mt near Saranac lake. I’m good at tent camping but usually where I can drive to. I’m an avid downhill skier with a season pass at Greek peak. I really look forward to a yearly trip to Gore or whiteface. My son and I have whitewater kayaks and we try to hit a water release at the salmon river every summer. I’ve jumped out of a perfectly good airplane to try it once. I think I would say my outdoor experience could be rated intermediate to advanced.
