Summary

Join us as we journey to Monhegan Island - we explore the numerous trails and scenic spots.  The island has  a small village as well.  In September we will avoid the crowds. We will be staying 2 nights.

You can enjoy Monhegan as a day trip experience if you'd like  (wonderful boat ride but only 4 hrs on the island till the boat departures).

We are holding off on making lodging reservations until we get closer to the date and a better idea of weather, due to the merchants' cancellation policy.  Lodging is mostly B&B and cottages.

NOTE:  Closer to the date we will contact you regarding more details (see our accommodation plans below).  You must book your own accommodations & boat trip on and off the island.

Fed & I are staying at the Trailing Yew - which has a flexible 7 day cancellation policy in case we get bad weather and need to change plans. Right now they have plenty of rooms available for Sept 15th and 16th,  I have attached their website.

Sorry, guys. Unplanned work issue is going to make taking additional time off during the middle/end of Sept a challenge. Hope someone else can take my spot. Looks like a great venue!!!
