This will drop you out onto 4th st. go south , a right turn , and then look for 13th ave s on your right. Go one block on 13th and you will be at 5th st south. For GPS users you can use 510 13th ave s 33701. This is a sparsely populated area with a lot of vacant land so you will have no trouble finding us. Trip Report/Photos
Two guys , David and Virgin , joined me on a nice , laid back walking tour of Sawgrass Park. The weather was perfect , not too hot , not too cold and perfectly sunny! The boardwalks in this park are great for a leisurely walk and for viweing fauna as well as flora. Since you are raised up a few feet you can get a unique view of the plants and how they grow.
We saw quite a few animals. Colorful ducks that David named "drag ducks" ( after , well you know...); several baby Alligators; a hawk carrying a big snake! This relaly is a jewel in the rough unexplored by many who live here since it is unexpected to have such wildlife and trees right in the center of the city.
Thanks for David and Virgin for making this an interesting day for me as they both had many unique and varied topics that we discussed as we walked around. As always , it's great to meet like minded gay men in a setting outside the bar scene! :-)
